Evidence Based Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy for Deep Transformation

Hypnotherapy has been shown to be an effective adjunctive approach to psychotherapy. PubMed lists more than 1,100 articles synthesizing research on using hypnotherapy for numerous conditions—including migraines, neuropathic pain, anxiety, depression, PTSD and other mental and physical issues. Many of the study participants reported high levels of patient satisfaction and continued use of the hypnotherapy techniques they learned.

Hypnotherapy boosts clients’ ability to change by accessing the subconscious mind, helping people reframe limiting beliefs, deal with pain and trauma, and build positive behaviors. As a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Kate uses evidence-based techniques to address issues like

• Stress and anxiety management

• Overcoming addictions and bad habits

• Enhancing confidence and motivation

• Resolving emotional trauma and fears

This powerful modality helps clients process emotions and create lasting changes that align with your therapeutic objectives.

Evidence Based Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT is especially effective for clients struggling with stress-related issues. Evidence Based EFT is a website that is dedicated to EFT research, education and training. The site has a wealth of links to studies demonstrating the efficacy of the modality. Several studies can also be found on PubMed, the online resource for the National Library of Medicine.

Also known as tapping, EFT combines cognitive strategies with gentle acupressure to calm the nervous system and release emotional blocks. Clients benefit from:

• Relief from chronic stress and overwhelm, including PTSD

• Improved emotional regulation

• A tool they can use independently to manage emotions between sessions

This tool is easy to learn and, best of all, can be employed easily by the client whenever a trigger situation is presented. Usually, the practice can take 15 minutes or less and provide significant relief in just a few "rounds" of tapping.
